Call it a party for all generations.
High school students joined seniors from the Bolingreen Health and Rehabilitation Center for a tailgate party.
Cheerleaders, coaches, and football players from high schools in Bibb, Monroe and Jones counties attended the event.
This is the tailgate's third year. Coordinators say the event grows larger each year, with more groups asking to participate.
Folks got game day food hot off the grill and heard words from former University of Georgia and NFL player Kevin Butler.
The center says they also have guests from other assisted living homes in the area. They says it's a time for the community to come together.
"We're trying to show that our generation, you know, can interact and not just be all into technology and things," said Kasey Gordon, a senior at Jones County High School.
