Phillips-Van Heusen Bringing 300 Jobs to Henry County
News

About 300 new jobs are coming to Henry County.

Governor Sonny Perdue announced Wednesday that clothing manufactuer Phillips-Van Heusen is moving its Georgia distribution center from Austell to McDonough.

They'll increase the number of workers in the state from 150 to 300, says a news release from Perdue's office.

He says the company has signed a 20-year lease for the 850,000-square foot Liberty Distribution Building there.

They say the new site will help them capitalize on shipments through the Port of Savannah.
