Arts Alliance Votes to Close Gallery | Arts & Culture

Monroe County Arts Alliance voted to close the art gallery at a March meeting.

That's according to the group's Facebook page.

They say the funds dropped so low it was impossible to keep the gallery open "due to lack of support, interest, and participation."

The Arts Alliance will still meet, and needs officers.

The gallery will be closed and empty by April 26.

MCAA Members:
It was voted to close the gallery as of March 29th at the directors meeting and members meeting held March 14th.
Due to lack of support, interest, and participation the funds have dropped so low that it will be impossible to continue to keep the gallery.

Monroe County Arts Alliance will continue to meet as an organization at various venues as announced.

Officers are needed. Please email us if interested in holding office.

If you have items for sale in the gallery please collect them the
first week in April.

Hours will stay as scheduled until gallery furnishings, supplies, and collections are sold during the month of April.

Gallery will be closed and vacated by April 26th.
