Monroe Co. Family Makes Mission Out of Annual Cherry Blossom Race | Arts & Culture

Before hundreds of runners take off in a cloud of pink for the 5K, 10K and one-mile fun run of Macon's Cherry Blossom Road Race on Saturday, March 23, many people have worked to make the event a day to enjoy for participants, spectators and volunteers.

At least 15-18 of those hard-working folks behind the scenes are connected with the Adrien family, whose roots reach into Monroe County.
