Gold Rush, a Mary Persons High School pep rally tradition, returns to Dan Pitts Stadium this Thursday at 7 p.m. The pep rally kicks off the football season as Mary Persons plays Jackson High School  at home on Friday, August 30.

Robins Federal Credit Union Announces Manager and Employees of the Quarter

Warner Robins, GA — Each quarter, Robins Federal Credit Union selects three employees that represent the best of the best in three categories – Manager, Support Department Staff and Branch Staff. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. The winners chosen for the second quarter of 2013 are as follows:

Jody White, Forsyth Branch – White is the manager of Robins Federal’s Forsyth Branch. He has been employed by Robins Federal Credit Union for 6 years, and has been the manager of the Forsyth branch for the past 2 years.

Melinda Haddock, Collections Department – Haddock is a Database Specialist for Robins Federal Credit Union. She has been in her current position for 4 years and before this worked as a Credit and Collection Specialist as well as a Title Clerk.

Local Credit Union Contributes to Monroe County ACE

Forsyth, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently contributed $1,000 to the Monroe County Adult and Community Education Dictionary and Thesaurus Program. This sponsorship along with others will help support early literacy for children across Monroe County.

Monroe County ACE is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for over 13 years and has participated in this event for 6 years. Their mission is to increase the literacy level of citizens in Monroe County, in hopes of ensuring the best possible quality of life for the community. This program distributes dictionaries to children in the Monroe County School System to encourage reading and learning.
