100 teens to attend safe driving camp | Community Spirit
About 100 teens are attending a safe driving camp Saturday.
Students from ages 15 to 17 will learn basic vehicle maintenance, skid recovery, defensive driving techniques and see presentations on distracted driving and drugs that can affect driving, according to a release.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Forsyth Police Department and the Georgia Public Safety Training Center hold the event. This is the seventh year the three agencies have hosted the driving camp.
