Two Charged in Monroe County Homicide | Crime

Two people were charged with murder after a Macon man was found shot to death in south Monroe County Tuesday.
Allison Selman-Willis with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Trevorius Thomas was reported missing over the weekend. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office investigated the case.
Selman-Willis says investigators found Thomas's body in an abandoned house on Zebulon Road in South Monroe County. She says the Bibb investigators turned the case over to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Monroe County coroner Joey Proctor says Thomas appeared to be shot in the back with a shotgun.
He couldn't say how long Thomas had been dead, but says the victim was last seen alive Friday afternoon.
Proctor said the body was sent to the GBI crime lab.
Investigators arrested 20-year-old Stephen Lober and 21-year-old Robert Kyle Doughtery in connection with the case.
They were charged with robbery and murder.
