Crimestoppers Arrest Made at a Forsyth Motel | Crime

A suspect recently featured on Crimestoppers has been arrested in Forsyth, according to a police news release.

Robert Ard, 24, was wanted by the Houston County Sheriff's Office for theft by taking, making terroristic threats, criminal trespass and a parole violation when he appeared in the March 13 Macon Regional Crimestoppers video. 

Forsyth police and Monroe County deputies arrested Ard at the Trade Winds Motel after receiving a tip.

Officers caught Ard returning to the motel in a vehicle he'd stolen from a nearby residence. A gun was also recovered in his possession.

Additional charges are pending.
