Celebrate Credit Union Youth Week with Robins Federal Credit Union

Robins Federal Credit Union will host a free community event and contests for the entire Middle Georgia community during National Credit Union Youth Week, April 19-26.

Robins Federal Credit Union kicks off its celebration of youth week on Friday, April 19 at 8:00 p.m. with a free outdoor movie featuring the Disney movie “Brave” in the parking lot of the 803 Watson Blvd. branch in Warner Robins. This free event is for the entire family.

Robins Federal Credit Union is also hosting the following two contests during Credit Union Youth Week:

Yard Sale Fundraiser in Forsyth Saturday

 

A yard sale fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 6,2013 starting at 8 a.m. 

at the First Baptist Church Parking Lot at 98 W Morse Street in Forsyth. 

All proceeds will go to the Amanda Parks Fund. Amanda is 38 and recently suffered from a stroke.

Farm to Table Benefit Dinner to Feature Mulberry Street Market Items

 

Health Care Central Georgia Inc. d/b/a Community Health Works (CHW) and The Moonhanger Group will host a Farm to Table Benefit Dinner on Monday, April 8th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at The Armory Ballroom. The dinner will feature an elegant four-course menu prepared with fresh, locally-grown and raised seasonal items harvested from the Mulberry Market.

Community Health Works has partnered with Bibb County 4-H to host a Silent Auction at the benefit dinner. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will directly benefit the Bibb County Cooperative Extensions' youth development program.

Peaches to Beaches Yard Sale This Weekend

The 9th Annual Peaches to the Beaches Annual Yard Sale is scheduled for March 8 and 9th along Hwy. 341.

Dodge County’s official site is located at the Municipal Center in Chauncey, GA.

According to the website, the Peaches to the Beaches Annual Yard Sale now covers over 200 miles from Barnesville and Culloden to Brunswick and the Golden Isles in Georgia.

Monroe County Special Olympics Slated for March

The 2013 Special Olympics are scheduled for March 8th at the Mary Persons High School track.

That's from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Bluegrass Band to Perform at Juliette Opry Saturday

Bluegrass band Kenny Scoggins and Millers Creek perform Saturday night at Juliette Opry.

They've been performing together since 1999.

Admission is free and donations are welcome.

Popcorn and drinks are available.

"Pickin' on the Porch" begins at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
