State Chorus Students Honored by BOE | Families

K.B. Sutton students who were selected for State Chorus and music teacher Sandy Watson, second from right, were recognized by the Monroe County Board of Education at its Dec. 10 meeting. Students selected from auditions were Orlexia Castlin, Kaitlyn Smith, Tristan Walters, Allison Spence, Gabe Imlay and Ashleigh Slaughter. The students rehearsed with others from around the state on Friday and presented a  concert on Saturday.

“It was a beautiful sound and so much fun,” said Watson. “Thank you for the opportunity.”
