Free Teen Driving Course This Saturday | People
The Macon Kiwanis Club will be hosting a Teen Driving Road-eo on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Hutchings Career Center, 2004 Riverside Drive, Macon. This free event is open to middle Georgia teens ages 15 and 16 who have a driver’s license or learner’s permit. It will teach participants driving maneuverability skills through a series of interactive learning stations.
Other highlights will include defensive driving with a skid car, a Jaws of Life demo, and a rollover simulator. Sponsors of this event include: The Georgia Public Safety Training Center, the Georgia State Patrol, the Macon Police, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, GEICO Insurance, Davis-McEver Allstate Insurance, Georgia Power, the Medical Center of Georgia, Riverside Ford Lincoln, Ackerman Wrecker Service, Harveys Supermarket, and Attorney Lester Miller.
