Day of Hope Run Benefits Save-A-Pet | People

The 2nd Annual Day of Hope 5K and Fun Run was held at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center last Saturday, Nov. 3 to raise money for Save-A-Pet.

The mother-daughter team of Kathy and Tess Hammock of Forsyth helped organize the event in memory of Hope, the dog found at a Forsyth home with its neck nearly severed last year.  Among the participants were, from left, Maradeth Leverett, Jaden Bankston, Ryan Bankston, James Waite and Marcelene Leverett.
