Monroe Co. Majority Vote for Romney | Politics

Sixty-eight percent of Monroe County voted for Mitt Romney in the presidential race.

Thirty-one percent of the Monroe County vote went to Barack Obama.

That was 8,352 votes for Romney, and 3,779 votes for Obama. 

One percent, 128 votes, of Laurens Countian voters selected the third party candidate Gary Johnson on their ballots.

Nationwide, Mitt Romney had 2,054,373 votes, but 206 electoral votes. Obama won the reelection wtih 303 electoral votes.
