Forsythia Gala Dance Classes

Preparations for the 25th anniversary of the Forsythia Festival start now!

The Forsythia Festival gala, a black-tie event will feature a night of music and dancing!

To spruce up on your dancing skills, the Chamber has partnered with Donna Brown of Dance to offer lessons to couples!

Donna has agreed to accept $100 per couple for Chamber members and $125 for non-members.  

This fee includes two people for four lessons to be chosen from the times listed to the left of this announcement. 

Each date has two sessions. You can pick one of the two.

 Each session has room for seven couples.

  • Drive-thru nativity scene at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Sardis Church Rd. opens 6:30 p.m until 8 Friday and Saturday [free admission]

Forsyth Christmas Tree Lighting Monday Night

Head out to tonight to get in the Christmas spirit with a free showing of  "How the Grinch Who Stole Christmas" movie at the Rose Theater at 5 p.m.

That's tonight, Monday November 28. 

At 7 p.m., join Santa, Mrs. Claus, choirs and dancers at the Christmas Tree Lighting.  The Christmas Tree lighting takes place on Jackson St. on the Forsyth Courthouse Square.
