Funeral services for Wallace Edward McLeod, 80, of Cochran who died Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Monday in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Wallace was born in Dodge County, the son of the late Ivey Franklin McLeod and

Annabell Dorsey McLeod. He was a graduate of Georgia Southern College with a B.A. degree in accounting and retired from Robins A.F.B. with 34 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea where he received a Purple Heart.  He was a member of Cochran Masonic Lodge and Cochran First Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping and just being in the woods.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred H. McLeod of Cochran; sons, Dennis W. McLeod of Dublin and Keith E. (Penny) McLeod of Cochran; grandson, Ryan McLeod of Cochran; brother, Floyd McLeod of Eastman; sisters, Joyce Mullis of Cadwell and Carolyn McDowell of Milan.

The family will receive friends following the service on Monday.
